Mentor Responsibilities
Clarify learning goals and expectations.
Review technical or design work.
Ask questions that reveal gaps in reasoning.
Explain important engineering principles.
Give actionable feedback.
Help participants prioritize learning.
Model professional communication and responsible technology practices.
Escalate conduct, security or safeguarding concerns appropriately.
Participant Responsibilities
Attempt the work before asking for the complete answer.
Explain reasoning and assumptions.
Bring specific questions.
Act on agreed feedback.
Prepare for review sessions.
Respect mentor time and communication boundaries.
Publish only real current mentors who have approved their role, photo and biography.
